Mr. Neal Lassila launched Fresh Juice Global on May 9th, 2012, with the vision, “To be the recognized leader of customer experience strategies, innovative design technologies, content, delivery, and services.” Since then, Fresh Juice has grown rapidly with several enterprise-class retail and hospitality clients. The guiding principles as crafted by Mr. Lassila are: being the most innovative, delivering high level creative work and exceptional quality in all aspects of the business.
Key clients include Hilton Grand Vacations, Intercontinental Hotels, Strategic Hotels Group, The Walt Disney Company, Lunds-Byerly (MN grocery chain), and Starbucks (incubation of developing community store concept).
Previously, Mr. Lassila held several key executive-level leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company. These positions span over 22 years, with the past 14 years in Marketing, Technology, Business Strategic Planning, and Research & Development. He specifically lead the retail technology and business strategies for ESPN Zone, Disney Quest, and several other business initiatives in Disney Consumer Products.
During Mr. Lassila’s last four years with Disney, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Disney Retail, a chain of 375 stores in 11 countries, and led the technology strategic planning, global development and roll out of the new “Imagination Park” guest experiences. He also led the overhaul of POS and e-commerce technologies (including cross channel integration) and led the Disney Retail Omni Channel strategic planning and implementation. He was a member of several Disney boards and committees including Enterprise Architecture Board, Internship Program Development, Global Leadership Team, and Blue Sky Team. Mr. Lassila is named inventor on three (3) Disney patents.
Prior to joining The Walt Disney Company, he was Director of Information Services for Fresh Point Inc. where he was responsible for 35 foodservice and retail outlet companies throughout the United States and Canada with $1.1 billion in revenue. In addition, he spent four years as Vice President of Information Services for Empire of America Relocation Services, with revenues of $100 million, and was responsible for the entire technology department reporting to the CEO and routinely interacting with executive management from Fortune 1000 companies.
Mr. Lassila sits on the Board of Advisors for BootUp Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based acceleration firm with a portfolio of 22 technology startups. He provides coaching and leadership to entrepreneurs and staff, ensuring they are in a position to be successful in their endeavors.
Mr. Lassila is very active in his community, including working as head coach of multiple age youth sports. He organized and started Boy Scout Troop 288 in Santa Clarita, CA, now thriving with 100+ scouts. He continues to be active with his church, serving as an advisor on the Finance Board and remains active with the YMCA parent-child programs.
